The Composition

A secret garden between incense and earth.

The opening blends the balsamic luminosity of elemi with the resinous depth of frankincense and the austere verticality of cypress.

At the heart, rose and iris evoke antique flowers, kept in a hidden garden. Iris, far from a purely floral image, brings to the composition its more earthy and complex dimension.

A trace of galbanum introduces depth and a hint of damp vegetation. At the base, cedar, patchouli and birch restore the matter of stone walls and ancient wood. Amber and musks soften the structure and prolong its presence on the skin.
